why we exist The goal of Mezzanine is to lift up, honour and provide a platform for the visual and performing arts in Toronto by creating a venue that showcases and honours artists' gifts and their work. our values We believe that art can serve as a meeting point bringing people together across socio-economic and cultural divides. In the same way, it functions as a catalyst for inspiration, critical thought, discussion and new ideas -- all of which benefit the community in which the art is created and experienced. We believe that art is a reflection and expression of the beauty that is displayed in creation. Throughout history, there has often been a divide between the artistic community and the church. our hopes Mezzanine seeks to break down that divide and create a culture where art, faith and creativity are embraced as different components of the same search for truth and meaning.
